Another Day at the orphanage

Pancake day at Niki's. Niki told me he likes American pancakes so I bought some with me. Stephane and Jaclyn went to Niki's Ice Hockey practice with him at 6:30am. When they came home I made pancakes for everyone.  Than we went to a cafe and had some coffee and than we went to lunch at a Pizza place. I have to say I might like the pizza here better than at home.
We went to the orphanage after Kiril was done school. We gave out more gifts to all the kids. We played some Uno and we took pictures. They love to take pictures of themselves. That seems to be what we will be doing on a daily basis with Kiril while we are here.
We did find out that Kiril has  hernia that needs to be repaired when we get home. Last Tuesday two teenagers got into a fight and Kiril tried to break it up well one of the boys grabbed Kiril and kneed him in his lower stomach. Now he has a tear that needs to be fixed. Seems to be a lot of fighting here at the orphanage. They play very rough all the time.
I was able to Skype so I called all the parents in the USA who are waiting for their adoption to happen so they could see and talk to their kids. Both parties were very excited. It was great to see their faces light up.
Things are moving as planned except we were told we will not be coming home when we thought. So we will have to change our plane tickets. Stephane is not too happy with that at all. $450 later. Things here in Kherson move at a snails pace when it comes to adoption. Definitely not the drivers here they go so fast they are almost flying!! (stay off the streets)
Zhanna came and picked us up at 7pm and we went food shopping and than we came home and had a great dinner. Thank God for Zhanna. I can't imagine being here doing an adoption without a Zhanna. If we didn't have her we would be alone all the time to fend for ourselves!!
